A Fairy Tale Wedding With Unique Wedding Favors

Alas the day has finally come. You have gone your entire life wondering what this precise moment would feel like. Your special someone drops to one knee and asks you to be their one and only for all time. You nod your head and fight back tears of joy while wrapping your arms ever so tightly around your soul mate. Time seems to come to an abrupt stop, and you are so overjoyed that you feel as thought you will burst with happiness. Imagine the reaction from your friends and family when you share your joyous news with them. This is just the first step in the direction of your new life; your happily ever after. The only thing left for you to do now is to plan your beautiful event out right down to the finest detail.

Now every bride-to-be wants their wedding to be unique. You wouldn't want to have the same decor or dresses as your friends had at their wedding or your siblings at theirs. You also wouldn't want the same wedding favors either. Just as every bride dreams of looking like a princess on her big day, she also dreams about having a wedding that is so memorable that people will talk about it for all of their days. This is where the wedding favors come in to play. Imagine having unique wedding favors for all of your guests to enjoy and to keep as memorabilia. Everything is to match perfectly, the colors as well as the themes.

You picture yourself walking down the isle in a beautiful gown with your family and friends standing in approval. You feel as though you are the only woman in the world that matters in this moment. Time eludes you and you feel as though your heart is going to flutter right out of your chest. As your vows are to be read, you begin to look deep into your soul mates eyes and yearn to hear them utter those sacred two words which means the world to you. Those words being simply, "I do".Every thing right down to the tears which will be shed at your holy union is guaranteed to be perfect.

It is quite easy to imagine isn't it? That is because one day it will become a reality and not just a fairy tale. The only limits when it comes to your special day happen to be those in which you set yourself. As hard as it can be sometimes to believe, some fairy tales are true. The only thing which is required to turn a dream into reality is both determination and planning. So long as you keep your mind set on your goal then you will one day accomplish it. Many women whom plan their own weddings sometimes feel overwhelmed at all of the planning which goes into it. This is why many seek out wedding planners to help in their expenditures and planning processes.

Nevertheless, regardless of who plans your wedding, be sure to make it unique and all your own. Do not be afraid to say "Hey I want unique wedding favors", or to even pick out your own specific wedding favors, flowers, and even decor. Always be certain to live up to that world famous saying "Carpe Dieum", and when it comes to your wedding day remember to seize your day.

The Missing Link Between Fairy Tales and Bridal Shower Favors

Do you remember as a small child, watching The Little Mermaid or even Beauty and the Beast? As enchanting as these childhood movies were and still are, they had some familiarities. Everyone knows that the Little Mermaid finds love, and of all places it is not under the sea, just like the main character in Beauty and the Beast.

Both of the main characters in these movies meet their very own personal prince charming. Now you know how the plots play out, they fall into forbidden love of sorts, and get married. Now since there are weddings in these two films, how come we never see any bridal shower favors or wedding shower favors? Were these two strikingly and breathtakingly beautiful princesses deprived of a bridal shower? It seems as though old Walt Disney over looked a couple of things while putting these films together.

With Mrs. Tea Pot and Sebastian's personalities alone, one would normally conclude that surely no stone was left unturned when it came to the timing and planning of the weddings. With movie characters so full of life and energy how could they possibly leave out a bridal shower for their key princesses? I suppose this is not something that children see, or rather don't see in these films. This is because as we grow older we tend to pay closer attention to the truths in film. I can honestly not think of one single children's film that has a wedding in it, that actually shows a bridal shower or even mentions one.

Surely if the old philosophy "life imitates art" is true then they should defiantly include something as simple as a bridal shower. I personally can not imagine how something as simple and yet monumental as a bridal shower, was completely left out by the greatest movie makers in all of history. As a child however, I simply did not pay attention to the detail, which is the reason why this little fact did not bother me back then. It is not so much that it bothers me or irritates me now in my adult years, but rather it irritates me by the fact that a company so akin to detail, overlooks and disregards an important one when it comes to fairy tale weddings.

It is not just the bridal showers which they missed. How many films from your childhood that had weddings in them also had bachelor parties in them? I'll tell you how many, absolutely none! The closest any of us as children ever got to see to bridal or bachelor parties, was in the old Popeye cartoons. Yup that's right, do you remember Olive being showered with gifts in the episode where Popeye proposed to her? Or how about in that same episode Popeye goes to a boxing match with his friends. These are not actually bachelor or bridal parties and showers; however they are as close as we ever got to seeing them as children.

If you could create your own cartoon with weddings with both bridal showers and bachelor parties in them, how would you go about doing it? Would you make these parties as fairytale like and majestic as the weddings themselves, or would you hint about them and not actually portray them like the Popeye cartoon did? I suppose it is true that some things are to be left to the imagination, especially when it comes to these pre wedding celebrations in childhood films.

Sprinkle Some Magic With Fairy Tale Wedding Favors

Booking a castle to hold your wedding may be a trifle cumbersome but sand castle tea lights will do just fine as fairy tale wedding favors. Your guests will be touched by the romance of the evening with these favors even if your dinner venue is a hotel.

Choosing a theme for the wedding party is a creative trend. Fairy tale love needs fairy tale wedding themes. All balls have guests arriving in their carriages. Why not gift 'enchanted carriage' boxes for guests to take home too. You can fill these boxes with almonds, chocolates or other goodies. Adding some intricate scroll work won't cost you much either.

Speaking of carriages, undoubtedly the Cinderella theme is the most popular. Match the theme with special Cinderella carriage design curio showpieces. Intricately crafted of durable white resin embellished with brilliant rhinestones, carved flowers and silver painted accents, these carriages do not vanish when the clock strikes twelve!

For $2 a piece, your fairy tale wedding favors can be a little more in keeping with the times. How about keepsake antique getaway cars flashing the 'in Luv' license plates? Your guests will feel like royalty with these fairy tale wedding favors.

You may have decided to individually greet your guests by giving them a fairy tale wedding favor. Again, in the Cinderella theme, you have elegant wedding shoe candle favors moulded in white wax. It looks awesome with intricate filigree work. No guest will fail to display these candle slippers in their living room for years afterwards. Cinderella wedding favors come as carriage candles too.

Handing out favors sometimes takes up too much time from what you would rather spend chatting with people or taking care of other things on the agenda. Placecard holders, in such cases, make for apt favors. In keeping with your fairy tale wedding theme, choose favors that double up as place cards holders. There is a whole range of these from silver tea pots, silver chair boxes to heart-shaped glass coasters and silver photo frames.

It needn't all be about princes and princesses though. Get more peppy with a blushing gingerbread bride or groom and possibly more realistic with these gingerbread candle favors. You can add personalized tags to the set of gingerbread couple in acetate boxes. Heart and star stage inserts tied bound with satin ribbons in chocolate color add to their charm.

Other great fairy tale wedding favors can be made with silver bells, bottle stoppers, bookmarks, silver hearts etc. Keep the flavor of the evening alive in the hearts of your guests long after the event with carefully chosen fairy tale wedding favors. Your guests are sure to keep praying for everlasting love for you every time they look at the favors you have so lovingly given them.
